CONNECTION OF THE LINE CURRENT TRANSFORMER
Mount the current transformer on the phase not concerned with the pick-up of the voltage signal by the reactive
power regulator (usually phase L1, also marked by R) and before the branch supplying the power factor
correction board (the transformer should measure the current of the loads plus that of the power factor correction
board).
The current transformer should be of class 0.5 or 1, with apparent power equal to at least 6VA. If other loads are
present in parallel to the current transformer, check their power consumption and increase the apparent power if
necessary. When the distance of the current transformer from the unit is less than or equal to 20mt, use 4mm
2
cables for the connection; if not, increase the size of the cables (for further information, consult the Service
department).
