Ensure the drain hose cap is tightened and the float shut-off screen within the recovery tank is free from clogs—clean it if needed. Inspect the squeegee assembly for any blockages and clean them out. Examine the squeegee blades for wear; replace or rotate them as necessary, and adjust the squeegee blade height to ensure correct deflection. Check for loose vacuum hose connections and secure them. Clear any obstructions from the vacuum hose and replace the hose if damaged. Make sure the recovery tank cover is correctly positioned and replace the seal if it's damaged. Lastly, recharge the batteries if the charge is low.

Also, check the solution solenoid valve for clogs, and remove and clean the valve if necessary.
