  If the buttons on your IDEAL Air Cleaner or its remote control aren't working, first disable the locking function on the remote. If that doesn't work, try unplugging the power cable and plugging it back in. Check the battery (3V lithium CR2025) and clean the IR receiver with a dry, lint-free cloth. Also, make sure you're pointing the remote directly at the air purifier. Note that after joining the power cord or exchanging the filter, the function of the remote control is blocked for about 10 seconds, so wait a few seconds before using the remote control. The cause may be that the locking function has been activated or that the remote control function is blocked for about 10 seconds.

  If your IDEAL Air Cleaner won't switch on, ensure the power cable is securely connected to the back of the device and that it is not damaged. Check that both ends of the power cable are plugged in properly, ensuring the purifier is connected to the power supply. Also, verify that an original IDEAL filter cartridge is correctly inserted and clicked in place with all 3 tabs fully locked.

  If your IDEAL Air Cleaner is making loud noises, start by cleaning the pre-filter with a vacuum cleaner if the filter cartridge is dirty. Ensure the device is placed on an even surface. If it's running at a high fan speed, reduce it using the fan speed button. The loud noises may be caused by a dirty filter cartridge or an uneven surface, or a high fan speed.

  If the automatic mode on your IDEAL Air Cleaner isn't working properly, it may be calibrating the air quality sensor, so wait until the process is complete. If the air quality sensor is dirty, clean the openings for the air quality sensor, the dust sensor, the air intake ducts, and the interior with a vacuum cleaner. You can also try calibrating the air quality sensor by briefly disconnecting it from the mains. This can happen because the air purifier calibrates the air quality sensor, or the air quality sensor is dirty, or the air quality sensor is not detecting the air quality reliably.
