SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF PROPORTIONAL-TYPE FUNCTIONAL WARRANTY FOR
ELECTRODES OF SALT ELECTROLYSIS SYSTEMS
An electrolysis electrode (coated titanium sheet) is an element that suffers wearing due to the
consumption of the active coating during the electrolysis process. Therefore, once the
operative lifetime of the electrode package has been spent, it must be replaced.
IDEGIS guarantees the electrode package installed in the salt electrolysis system during
8.000 working hours since installation. The described functional warranty will be invalid if
anyone of the following circumstances occur:
o Operation at salinities lower than 3 g./l. of salt (sodium chloride).

o Use of non authorized chemical products.
o Opposite practice to the indicated in this Operation Manual.
In the case of needing the substitution of the electrode package under Functional Warranty
Conditions, IDEGIS will charge to the user the proportional part of the operating time passed
(lower than 8.000 hours since installation) until the notification of the discrepancy.
Charge =(PV x TF)/8000
TF: Working time: working time elapsed (in hours) since the start-up of the service (minimum value
per year or bathing season: 1500 hours).
PV: Selling price: Selling price of the component to be replaced in the date of the failure report.
According to this warranty, the set-up date is the same that the date in the purchase invoice of the
product. The warranty for the set of replaced electrodes expires on the same date that the original
