MODE Switch (F34)
6-position rotary switch provides selection of
one of
six function generator modes of oper-
ation: CONTinuous, TRIGgered, GATEd,
BURST, CONT SWP
(turns on sweep generator),
and TRIG SWP (one sweep cycle) .
TRIGGER LEVEL Potentiometer (F33, F34)
Provides a means to control the triggering
sensitivity of the logic to inputs on the TRIG
SYNC input BNC. This control is useful for
the TRIG, GATE, BURST (adjusts number of
cycles/burst), and TRIG SWP mode positions.
WAVEFORM Switch (F31, F32)
Rotary SWitch selects one of four waveforms:
JU ,/V, '\" and DC.
WAVEFORM Switch (F33)
5-position rotary switch selects one of five
waveforms:JU,""""', '\", DC, and PULSE.
WAVEFORM Switch (F34)
6-position rotary switch selects one of six
waveforms:JU,"'V','\", DC, PULSE, and"

VARIABLE PULSE Vernier (F33, F34)
Potentiometer controls the duty cycle of the
rectangUlar pUlse duration of the VARIABLE

SWEEP TIME Switch (F34)
6-position rotary switch prOVides selection of
six ranges of sweep duration: 10 J.lsec, 100
J.lsec 1
msec, 10 msec, 100 msec, and 1 sec.
SWEEP TIME Vernier (F341
Potentiometer provides a continuous 100:1 con-
trol of the sweep time. Full-scale sweep time,
as indicated by SWP TIME SWitch, is obtained
at the CAL position.
AMPLITUDE OUTPUT (F32, F33. FS41
5-pOSltlOn rotary swltcn, lO-db step attenuator
provides 10, 3.16, 1.0, 0.316 and 0.10 volts
peak-to-peak maximum signal amplitudes.
OUTPUT LEVEL Potentiometer (F32. F33. F34)
20-db range potentiometer used for continuous
amplitude control. Pull out on _F31 only for
additional 20 db attentuation.
