4.1 IO-Link

The device offers the following IO-Link functions:
• IO-Link master (IO-Link revision 1.0 and 1.1)
• 1 IO-Link port to connect IO-Link devices

4.1.1 IO-Link supply

The device provides the supply for an IO-Link device. The IO-Link port is a class A port. The supply
provides short-circuit monitoring.

4.2 Additional digital input / output

Pin 2 of the IO-Link port can be configured either as an additional digital input or digital output. The
additional digital input / output refers to the potential of the device supply (pin 3).

The device displays the following indications:
• Status of the voltage supply
• Status of the IO-Link port
• Signal status of the digital input / output

4.4 Parameter setting

The device offers the following configuration options:
• Reading and writing of the parameter sets of the connected IO-Link device (only with separately
available parameter setting software LR DEVICE)
• Automatic storage and recovery of parameter sets of the connected IO-Link device (data storage)
