Why is there leakage from my Igema Measuring Instruments?

Leakage from Igema Measuring Instruments can occur due to several reasons: a break in the glass or mica, a packing set that isn't tight, or a seal that isn't tight. In such cases, it is advisable to close the shutoff valves, replace the glass/mica shield, replace the packing set or seal, and retighten screw connections. Also, slowly open the drain valve to depressurize the gauge.

What to do if there is no water column visible in my Igema Measuring Instruments gauge?

      Kathleen PatelAug 11, 2025
If you cannot see the water column in your Igema Measuring Instruments gauge, it could be due to shutoff valves not being open, a blockage in the inlet or outlet pipe, or blocked connection bores within the gauge. To resolve this, close the shutoff valves, carefully open shutoff valves, clean the inlet and outlet pipes, and clean the gauge. Also, slowly open the drain valve to depressurize the gauge.
