• Loosen the screw (3) on the handgrip (1) and slide it out.
• Connect the handgrip to the appliance unit, making sure it is fitted correctly.
• Insert the screw (3) and tighten it in a clockwise direction (Fig. B1).
• Choose the combined brush (14) or the accessory most suited (16) to the surface that you wish to clean and
connect it to the vacuum fitting (13).
Use the selector switch (15) (Fig. C1) to adjust the combined brush to suit the floor being cleaned:
- Selector switch (15) turned to A (brush extracted): for hard floors.
- Selector switch (15) turned to B (brush retracted): for carpets and rugs.
for cleaning tight corners and area e.g. radiators, skirting boards,
rolling blinds.

• Completely unwrap the power cord (6). To do this, turn the upper cord hook downwards (2A) (Fig. D1).
• Insert the plug in the power socket and switch on the appliance using the ON/OFF switch (7).
• The vacuum suction power can be adjusted using the electronic power control system (9).
• Select the settings below (Fig. D2):
: for curtains
: for carpets and rugs
: for hard floors and parquet.
• When you have finished using the appliance, switch it off using the ON/OFF switch (7) and unplug it from the
socket.
• Wind the power cord (6) around the two cord winder hooks (2A and 2B) (Fig. D1). The plug clamp can be
used to fix the cord in place.
• The appliance can be blocked in a vertical position with combined brush attached (Fig. D3) which is handy
when storing it away. Slot the combined brush (14) into position B when vacuuming carpets in order to
protect the brushes
