Cleaning the filter (12B)
NOTE:
• Replace the lter if it is damaged or if it cannot be cleaned properly.
• Replace the lter at least once a year.
• Failure to clean or replace the lter will render the manufacturer's warranty null and void.
• Press the two release buttons (14) for the dust collection compartment (12) [Fig. E1] and detach the
dust collection system (12) from the appliance [Fig. E2].
• Remove the ltering system (12B+12C+12D+12E) [Fig E3.]
• Remove the dust collection compartment cover (12A), turning it anticlockwise [Fig. E2].
• Replace the HEPA lter (12B) and the sponge lter (12C) with new lters [Fig. E2].
• Insert the dust collection compartment cover (12A), and fasten it turning it clockwise [Fig. E2]
• Insert the ltering system (12) onto the stick vacuum cleaner, it clicks into place when it is fastened
correctly.
Replacing the HEPA filter (11)
• Press the grille release button (10A) and remove the grille (10) [Fig. F1].
• Remove the HEPA lter (11) [Fig. F1].
• Replace the HEPA lter (11) with a new one.
• Ret the grille (10), when the grille release button (10A) clicks into place it is fastened correctly [Fig.
F1].
STORING AND MAINTAINING THE PRODUCT
If the appliance is not being used, disconnect the plug from the socket and store the appliance in a
dry, dust-free place.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Should one of the problems indicated occur, adopt the proposed solution:
Problem Solution
The appliance will not switch on.
• Check that the plug is connected to the mains supply. Make
sure you have pressed the ON/OFF button (6).
The appliance switches off during
use and will not switch on again.
• The vacuum cleaner has a motor protection thermostat
that switches the appliance off in the event of overheating
(caused by a blockage in the suction ducts or by the dust
collection system being clogged). If it is activated, switch
off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button (6) and
leave it to cool completely for a couple of hours. Remove
the dust or the object blocking the suction ducts before
switching the appliance back on.
The suction power is poor.
• Power regulator at the minimum level: Raise the power to
Medium or Max.
• The dust collection system is full: Empty the dust collection
compartment
• The lter is clogged: Clean or replace the lter
• The lter is not tted correctly: Ensure that the lter is tted
correctly.
