WALL-MOUNTING
THE
P142,
P152
AND
PG250
The
P142,
P152
and
PC250
are
designed
to
mount
directly
to
a
wall.
Each
speaker
has
two
keyholes
on
the
back,
and
will
require
(2)
1-1/2,11
#10
wood
screws
fastened
to
a
wall
stud.
If
a
wall
stud
is
unavailable,
install
an
anchor
appropriate
for
a
1-1/2,11
#10
screw.
NOTE:
The
customer
is
responsible
for
the
correct
selection
and
use
of
mounting
hardware
(available
through
hardware
stores)
that
will
ensure
the
proper
and
safe
wall-mounting
of
the
speakers.

Step
1.
Mark
the
positions
on
the
wall
where
you
would
like
to
place
the
mounting
screws.
Step
2.
Fasten
two
1-1/2,11
#10
wood
screws
to
the
wall
using
the
markings
placed
in
Step
1
as
your
guide.
Leave
an
11/16
11
space
between
the
wall
and
screwhead.
If
a
wall
stud
is
not
avai
lable,
use
an
appropriate
anchor.
Step
3.
Place
the
speaker
on
the
wall
by
aligning
the
keyholes
on
the
back
of
the
speaker
to
the
screwheads
on
the
wall.
Once
positioned
properly,
the
speaker
should
slide
down
slightly
and
become
secure.
The
P142
also
allows
the
use
of
thi
rd-party
wall
brackets
usi
ng
the
1/41~20
threaded
insert
located
beneath
the
keyhole
mount.
Consult
the
wall-bracket
manufacturer
for
selection
of
proper
bracket.
CHANGING
THE
P252
AND
P362
FEET
The
P252
and
P362
feature
attractive
outboard
feet,
installed
at
the
factory.
However,
if
you
would
like
to
replace
them
with
the
less
visible
inboard
feet
(included),
follow
the
instructions
below.
1.
Remove
the
four
feet
on
the
bottom
of
the
speaker
by
looseni'ng
the
screw
in
each
foot.
Keep
the
screws
for
later
use.
o
2.
Remove
the
rubber
plug
from
each
inner
hole
(and
save
for
possible
future
use).
3.
Attach
the
black
inboard
feet
to
the
inner
holes
from
which
you
just
removed
the
rubber
plugs,
using
the
same
screws
you
just
removed.
4.
Hand-tighten
securely,
using
a
handheld
Phillips
(+
tip)
screwdriver.
Do
not
use
a
powered
screwdriver
of
any
type.
CAUTION:
Floorstanding
(tower)
loudspeakers
have
a
high
center
of
gravity
and
may
become
unstable
and
tip
over
during
earthquakes,
or
if
rocked,
tipped
or
improperly
positioned.
If
this
is
a
concern,
these
speakers
should
be
anchored
to
the
wall
behind
them,
using
the
same
procedures
and
hardware
customary
for
anchoring
bookcases
and
wall
units.
The
customer
is
responsible
for
proper
installation
and
proper
selection
of
hardware.
