EU-widelegislationasimplementedineachMemberStaterequiresthatusedelectrical
andelectronicproductscarryingthemark(below)mustbedisposedofseparatelyfrom
normalhouseholdwaste.Thisincludesprojectorsandtheirelectricalaccessories.
Whenyoudisposeofsuchproducts,pleasefollowtheguidanceofyourlocalauthority
and/orasktheshopwhereyoupurchasedtheproduct.
Aftercollectingtheusedproducts,theyarereusedandrecycledinaproperway.This
eortwillhelpusreducethewasteaswellasthenegativeimpacttothehumanhealth
andtheenvironmentattheminimumlevel.
ThemarkontheelectricalandelectronicproductsonlyappliestothecurrentEuropean
UnionMemberStates.
Thecrossed-outwheeledbinimpliesthatusedbatteriesshouldnotbeputtothe
generalhouseholdwaste!
Thereisaseparatecollectionsystemforusedbatteries,toallowpropertreatmentand
recyclinginaccordancewithlegislation.
AccordingtotheEUdirective2006/66/EC,thebatteriescan’tbedisposedimproperly.
Thebatteryshallbeseparatedtocollectbylocalservice.
DisposingofyourusedproductoutsidetheEuropeanUnion
IfyouwishtodisposeofusedelectricalandelectronicproductsoutsidetheEuropean
union,pleasecontactyourlocalauthorityandaskforthecorrectmethodofdisposal.
