4 After you remove the lamp module, examine the condition of the dust filter screens. The screens
are located on each side of the lamp module, at the front and rear. There may be more than one
screen at each location on the lamp module. Dirt and dust accumulation on the screens must be
removed.
NOTE The lamp module illustrated below may not appear exactly like the one you removed, but
you can use the illustration to determine the locations of the dust filter screens.
5 Use compressed or canned air to clean the screens on both sides of the lamp housing. Then use
a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol to lightly wipe each screen. When you've wiped each
screen, use the compressed or canned air to blow away remaining contaminants.
