  The compressor may be tripping due to several reasons. It might be operating above the rated pressure, so set the pressure to the correct rating. The package pre-filter could be blocked, requiring cleaning or replacement. A blocked cooler, missing or incorrectly fitted enclosure panels, low coolant level (top up coolant and check for leaks), high ambient temperature (re-site compressor), or restricted cooling air flow (ensure correct air flow to compressor) could also be the cause.

  If the pressure relief valve opens, it could be due to a defective switch or incorrect pressure switch setting; in this case, replace the switch or set the pressure to the correct rating for the machine. Alternatively, there may be a minimum pressure valve malfunction (fit minimum pressure valve service kit), a defective load solenoid valve (fit load solenoid service kit), a defective blowdown valve (fit blowdown solenoid service kit), or an inlet valve malfunction (fit inlet valve service kit).
