- Activation: The scooter requires activation via the INMOTION App for full functionality; new scooters are restricted to ECO mode (15 km/h speed limit) until activated.
- First Ride Safety: Users must read the safe driving guide in the App. A helmet and protective gear (elbow pads, knee pads) are recommended. The motor engages only after the scooter reaches 3 km/h for safety.
- Braking: Release the throttle and lightly hold the braking lever. Avoid sudden braking, especially in wet conditions, as braking distances may be extended.
- Folding and Carrying: The scooter can be folded by pressing a locking button, pulling a lever, and bending the handlebar stem towards the footrest. The hook then attaches to a locking clip on the mudguard for secure carrying.
- Tire Inflation: Tires should be checked before each ride and inflated to 2.5-3.5 bar for optimal performance and range. A valve extender is provided for inflation.
- App Connectivity: The scooter pairs with the INMOTION App for activation, settings adjustments, and error diagnostics.
- Safety Alerts & Error Messages: The scooter provides beep alerts and displays error codes on the dashboard for various issues (e.g., controller error, battery error, brake self-test failure, throttle power-on self-test failure, overheating). Users are advised to consult the error code table and contact after-sales service if needed.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: Wipe the scooter body with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use toothpaste and a toothbrush, then wipe clean. Ensure the scooter is off, the charging cable is disconnected, and the rubber cap is closed to prevent water damage to electronic components. Avoid using alcohol, petrol, kerosene, or other corrosive chemical solvents, and do not wash with high-pressure water jets.
- Storage: Store the scooter in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid prolonged outdoor storage, excessive sunlight, overheating, or extreme cold, as these can accelerate tire aging and reduce battery life.
- Battery Care:
- Only use original batteries and chargers.
- Do not charge or store the battery outside the specified temperature range (-20°C to 45°C for storage, 0°C to 45°C for charging).
- Avoid touching battery contacts, dismantling, or puncturing the casing.
- Do not throw the battery into fire.
- Do not charge or use a damaged or flooded battery.
- Do not attempt to remove or disassemble the battery.
- Fully recharge the battery after each use to extend its lifespan.
- Recharge a low-power battery every 60 days to prevent damage.
- Improper disposal of used batteries can pollute the environment; follow local regulations for battery recycling.
- Regular Inspections: Perform regular checks for loose fasteners and damaged components. If abnormal sounds or alarms occur, stop riding immediately and diagnose via the App or contact after-sales service.
- Tire Pressure: Regularly check and maintain tire pressure between 2.5 and 3.5 bar for better riding experience and range.
