Why is there a memory error when I turn on my Innomed Medical Equipment device?

  If your Innomed Medical Equipment device always starts with a memory error, the soldering may not be satisfactory. Check the soldering on the digital part of the Main Board and resolder the IC’s with the exception of the processor. If it cannot be repaired, replace the card. Also, the battery, or its connection / cable may be damaged. Check the battery. If it cannot be repaired, replace it. Check battery cabling.

  If your Innomed Medical Equipment device cannot be reprogrammed, the reed-tube in the device might be broken. After disassembling the device, check the tube; if necessary, replace it. (If no replacement tube is available, temporarily reconnecting the reed-tube places the device into programming mode.) Also, the serial cable may be damaged or the PC serial port setting may be incorrect. Check the serial cable and the PC, and the download software settings.

  If only one side of the LCD is operational, or nothing is visible on your Innomed Medical Equipment device, but the QRS sound is audible, the cable between the Interface Board and the Main Board may be damaged, the Main Board may be damaged, or the LCD may be damaged. Check the connecting ribbon cable, the soldering on the LCD, and the connection at the end of the ribbon cable.

If any of them are damaged, replace the keyboard. Check the Main Board and the Interface Board with another keyboard. Check the soldering and the keyboard control signals on the Main Board and the Interface Board. If it cannot be repaired, replace the damaged card.

  If your Innomed Medical Equipment device doesn't turn on, it could be due to several reasons: * The batteries are completely discharged: Check the battery and its charge state. * The battery-protecting fuse has burned out: Replace the fuse and try to find the reason for the burn-out and fix it. * The battery is damaged: Replace the battery if it cannot be fixed. * The cable to the power switch is damaged or the connection to the power switch has slipped off: Check the cables and the connections. * The soldering is not satisfactory: Check the soldering on the digital part of the Main Board. Resolder the IC’s with the exception of the processor. If it cannot be repaired, replace the card.
