Maintaining your scale
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the dust from your scale. If your scale is
dirty, use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away the dirt. Then use a soft, dry
cloth to dry it.
DON’T disassemble this device. You will void the warranty. If you have
any problems, please contact Best Buy. See ONE-YEAR LIMITED
WARRANTY on page 28 for details.
If you plan to store your scale for an extended period, remove the
batteries.

Error messages
CAUTION:
• DON’T wash your scale with water or immerse it in water, and
DON’T use solvents, abrasives, or other chemical cleaners to
clean your scale.
• DON’T dispose of used batteries in a fire. Batteries may explode
or leak.
SCREEN PROBLEM SOLUTION
Overload. The scale
turns off.
The weight you are attempting
to determine is above the
range of the scale. Stop using
the scale.
Low battery. The scale
turns off after four
seconds.
Replace all three AAA batteries
with new batteries.
