Using your iron
Using your iron for the first time
Some parts of the iron have been slightly greased and, as a result, the iron may smoke
slightly when turned on for the first time. This stops after a few uses.
1 Remove any protective films or stickers from the sole plate and the body of the iron.
Clean the sole plate with a soft cloth.
2 Test the iron on an old piece of fabric to make sure that the sole plate and water
reservoir are completely clean.
