Why is steam leaking from the floating valve on my Insignia NS-MC60SS9?
- GGina ClarkSep 8, 2025
If steam leaks from the floating valve after it pops up on your Insignia Electric Pressure Cooker, residue may be blocking the valve, the silicon cap on the floating valve may be damaged, or your cooker may be building up too much pressure. Press the Cancel button, then unplug the power cord from the power outlet. Use the quick release method to release any built up pressure and let your cooker cool before opening it. Clean the valve, then try again. If the silicon cap on the floating valve is damaged or your cooker may be building up too much pressure, take your cooker to a Best Buy authorized service center for repair.
