To set up Cortana to respond automatically:

Open the search bar, tap (Notebook), and then tap (Settings).

Under Hey Cortana, tap the bar to turn on Let Cortana respond to "Hey
Cortana."
Use Cortana

Tap (microphone)in the search bar.
OR
Say "Hey Cortana" (see steps above to set up Cortana to respond
automatically).

Say a command or search term, and then answer Cortana's follow-up
questions, if needed.
