Use the detachable keyboard
l To attach your tablet, align the bottom with the guides on the keyboard.
l Use the USB ports on the right and left sides of the keyboard to connect a
flash drive, mouse, or other devices.
Note
l You cannot run high-power devices (such as a DVD drive) with the
USB port.
l You cannot charge your tablet through the USB port.
l
Press Fn+ (F12) to turn the keyboard's touchpad on or off. The touchpad
LED turns off when the touchpad is active.
l To remove your tablet, hold the keyboard in place, and then lift the tablet
straight up.
Use the on-screen keyboard
l To open the keyboard, tap an editable field on your tablet. Or, if in Desktop
mode, tap the (keyboard) icon in the taskbar.
l
To close the keyboard, tap ×.
l To adjust keyboard sound settings, see Adjust the sound (on page24).
l To change your keyboard language, see Select your language (on page42).
