6.22. System reset
There are two types of reset, one temporary by hardware, and the other permanent by software (by programming mode). The
Temporary Reset
restarts the installer password to
9090
and the master password to
1234
for 1 minute, without erasing any
programming made. The
Reset by programming mode
, in addition to returning the installer and master passwords (see topic
6.8. Passwords
) to the factory defaults, it also erases all secondary passwords and all programming carried out.
If the
Reset Blocking
is activated, it will not be possible to perform a System
Reset
(see item
6.18. Activation/deactivation of
functions
).
Temporary reset of master and installer password
If you have forgotten the master password or the installer password, it will not be possible to enter the programming mode and
access the alarm center settings/operations. If this occurs, there is a temporary reset for these passwords following this step:
1. With the alarm center on, press the wireless device registration key for approximately 15 seconds, when the LED ashes
again, the alarm center will enter into temporary reset mode for 1 minute. During this time the master password will
revert to
1234
and the installer password to
9090
.
During this period, it will be possible to enter the programming mode and change the master password and/or the installer
password (see topic
6.8. Passwords
). If nothing is done during this period, the passwords will return to the same previously
programmed values.
Reset by programming mode
The
Reset via programming mode
, erases all programming carried out on your alarm center and cancels the reporting of
pending events.
To program this function, type:

If you want to perform a single command to erase all the alarm center congurations, including registered wireless devices
and editable messages, type:

Attention: this command will make the alarm center return to the factory default, so even the keyboard used to execute the
command will lose its registration, and all programming must be redone.
6.23. Programming quick reference
This quick reference assumes that the alarm center is in programming mode and presupposes reading the complete manual
and knowing the result of each function.
Enter in programming mode
When pressing the
Enter
key on the initial screen, the message
Prog. password
will be displayed, indicating that the alarm
center is waiting for the entry of the master password or the installer password.
