Interklima Dx Cassette Units
II-IO CCV1 R410A / Rotary / Scroll
45
In HEAT mode, outdoor unit and indoor fan stop.
b) Protection Deactivation
During COOL/DEHUMIDIFICATION / HEAT mode, compressor
runs for 3 minutes,
If Ti -Tr >3
o
C for 10 seconds, protection deactivates.
2.6.1.3. HIGH PRESSURE SWITCH PROTECTION
This is to protect the system from high pressure operation.
System pressure is measured at gas discharge pipeline.
Protection activates when system pressure > 4.2 Mpa,
deactivates < 3.6 Mpa.
If high pressure switch is opened for 8 seconds, the compressor
turn off and outdoor fan remains on. Indoor fan remains on. When
high pressure switch is closed for 8 seconds, the compressor will
turn on after 3 minutes.
Note: This protection device is standard for IO-30CC Upwards.
2.6.1.4. LOW PRESSURE SWITCH PROTECTION
This is to protect the system from too low pressure operation. Low
system pressure is measured at gas suction pipeline.
Protection activates when system pressure < 0.15 Mpa,
deactivates > 0.25 Mpa.
a. If low pressure switch is opened for 8 seconds, the
compressor and outdoor fan turn off. Indoor fan remains on.
When low pressure switch is closed for 8 seconds, the
compressor will turn on after 3 minutes.
b. In defrost time, the function is cancelled.
Note: This protection device is standard for IO 30CC Upwards.
2.7.ELECTRIC HEATER STRIP FOR COMPRESSOR
When the power supply is connected, electric heater strip for
compressor is turned on. When the compressor is on, the electric
heater strip is turned off.
Note: For rotary compressor models, this electric heater strip
installation is optional.
2.8.OUTDOOR FAN SPEED CONTROL (Optional)
The main purpose of outdoor fan speed control (OFSC) is to avoid
freezing of indoor evaporator in cooling mode when outdoor
ambient temperature is low:
a. When the indoor coil temperature descends below 6
o
C, the
outdoor fan runs 60% and stops 40% of the operation cycle.
When the indoor coil temperature descends below 4
o
C, the
outdoor fan runs 30% and stops 70% of the operation cycle.
When the indoor coil temperature descends below 2
o
C, the
outdoor fan stops.
b. When the indoor coil temperature rises over 3
o
C, the outdoor
fan runs 30% and stops 70% of the operation cycle.
When the indoor coil temperature rises over 5
o
C, the outdoor
fan runs 60% and stops 40% of the operation cycle.
When the indoor coil temperature rises over 7
o
C, the outdoor
fan runs continuously.
The operation cycle for each of the above is 20 seconds.
2.9.VENTILATION MODE
a. Only indoor fan is activated. Compressor and outdoor fan are
turned off.
b. Indoor fan speed can be adjusted for low, medium and high.
2.10. DEHUMIDIFICATION MODE
a. If Tr≥25
o
C, compressor and outdoor fan will be ON for 8
minutes and OFF for 4 minutes repeatedly.
b. If 16
o
C≤Tr<25
o
C, compressor and outdoor fan will be ON for
8 minutes and OFF for 6 minutes repeatedly.
c. If Tr<16
o
C, compressor and outdoor fan will be turned off.
d. In dehumidification mode, Indoor fan will run as in cool mode.
e. If room air temperature sensor is damaged, the unit will be ON
for 8 minutes and OFF for 6 minutes repeatedly.
2.11. AUTO HEAT-DEHUMIDIFICATION-COOL MODE
a. In auto mode, the initial set temperature is 24
o
C and the indoor
fan runs in auto.
b. If Tr<21
o
C, the unit will operate in heat mode.
c. If Tr>25
o
C, the unit will operate in cool mode.
d. If 21
o
C≤Tr≤25
o
C, the unit will operate in dehumidification
mode.
e. Once the unit is turned on in auto mode, it will operate in that
mode and will not changeover.
f. If the unit has been turned off for 2 hours, when being turned
on, the unit will select the operating mode depending on the
room temperature.
2.12 SLEEP MODE
a. Sleep mode can only be set in cool or heat mode, indoor fan
runs at low speed.
b. In cool mode, after sleep mode is set, Ts will increase 2
o
C
during 2 hours.
c. In heat mode, after sleep mode is set, Ts will decrease 2
o
C
during 2 hours. The auxiliary electric heat is obsolete.
d. Changing of operation mode will cancel sleep mode.
