IBM-compatible PC running Windows
Available 9-pin serial port or USB port
Mouse or other pointing device
1. Turn off computer
2. Plug ePad into a serial port
3. Turn on your computer and allow Windows operating
system to boot up
4. Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive
5. For Windows 95, 98, ME, and 2000
A. The Plug & Play Hardware Wizard should
indicate on the screen that a new hardware is found
and it will guide you through the installation process
B. If the Plug & Play Hardware Wizard does not
come up, you can always run setup.exe from the CD
instead.
6. For Windows NT 4.0
A. Run setup.exe from Windows NT40 directory of
the CD and follow the instructions on the screen
B. Note: You should have ADMIN privileges to
install new hardware on your Windows NT computer
1. Turn off computer
2. Plug ePad into a USB port
3. Turn on your computer and allow Windows operating
system to boot up
4. Insert the CD ROM into the CD ROM drive
5. Let the Plug & Play hardware Wizard install the
default HID drivers.
6. Run Setup.exe from the USB directory to install the
USB ePad driver.
