What to do if Interspace Industries MicroCue2 handset does not function?
    • L

If your Interspace Industries Digital Presenters handset isn't working, start by checking the battery. For the Classic handset, see if the amber LED lights up; if not, replace the 9V battery. For the Laser handset, check if the Indicator LEDs light up at all; if there's only a red flashing light, change the battery. If the correct color shows briefly followed by an amber light, the battery is low and should be replaced. If the RF level on the rear of the MicroCue2 shows a signal, try ‘learning’ the handset to the unit. If the memory limit has been reached, press and hold the ‘learn’ button until the LED goes out to erase all handsets, then re-learn the new handset.

Why Interspace Industries MicroCue2 has intermittent loss of control?

If you're experiencing intermittent loss of control with your Interspace Industries Digital Presenters, make sure you have at least 3 of the 4 LEDs lit on the RF level Indicator on the rear of the unit when you push the remote control, and ensure there are 2 LEDs difference to any “background” noise. Also, ensure a clear line of sight between the transmitter and receiver, and avoid positioning people between them.

How to avoid Interspace Industries MicroCue2 Digital Presenters operating each other in two rooms?
    • J
      Jeffrey SwansonAug 16, 2025
If you have two Interspace Industries Digital Presenters in separate rooms that are interfering with each other, it's likely the handsets are programmed to both systems. To fix this, hold the button on the bottom of each unit labeled ‘Learn’ until the RED LED lights up and goes out. This will erase all ‘taught’ handsets. Then, tap the ‘Learn’ button again and press the handset buttons you want to control that specific MicroCue2.

How to improve positioning of Interspace Industries MicroCue2?

      Matthew CookAug 25, 2025
To improve the positioning of your Interspace Industries Digital Presenters, ensure the MicroCue2 aerial is vertically oriented and within line-of-sight of the handsets, avoiding large metallic objects in between as much as possible. Lift the unit up to gain some height. Position the MicroCue2 main unit away from other equipment as much as possible to avoid electrical/electronic interference. Consider the MasterCue V6 system, which has a remote RF receiver and back-up wired buttons.
