TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE (continued)

Circulation line is blocked.

. Incorrect inlet and outlet hose
direction.

. Scale on flow sensor pins inside the
titanium electrode.

. Titanium electrode cord is loose.

. Device is set and operating in
backwash, rinse or waste mode.

. Titanium electrode failure.

. Dirt or scale on titanium electrode
plates.

. LED display is off and the ʺSERVICEʺ
light is on - the system does not power
up.

The LED display shows a red dot only and
unit does not respond - the electrodes(s)
is/are short circuited.

Control station failure.
If your unit has plunger valves, ensure that
they are open.
Clear the basket and cell housing from debris
and dirt. See ʺMaintenanceʺ section.
Depress the 6-way valve, release all trapped
air in the circulation line.
Check the direction of the inlet and the outlet
hose. Reverse the hoses if necessary. See
ʺSet Up Instructionsʺ.
Clean the titanium electrode. See ʺTitanium &
E.C.O. Electrodes Cleaningʺ section.
Plug the cord into the titanium electrode and
tighten the plug collar firmly.
Ignore the alarm, finish the backwash, rinse
or waste operation then turn the power switch
OFF and ON again to reset the alarm.
Contact Intex Service Center.
Remove the titanium electrode for inspection.
Clean it if necessary. See ʺTitanium & E.C.O.
Electrodes Cleaningʺ section.
Add salt. See ʺSalt & Pool Water Volumesʺ.
Plug the cord into the titanium electrode and
tighten the plug collar firmly.
Contact Intex Service Center. Replace the
cell if needed.
Partially drain the pool and refill it with fresh
water. See ʺSalt & Pool Water Volumesʺ.
Contact Intex Service Center.
Household voltage is too high or too low (+ 20%).
Check the voltage is within the range stated on the
device housing.
Contact Intex Service Center.
Remove and clean the electrode(s). Replace the
electrode(s) if needed.
Contact Intex Service Center.
