Important = the output regulator must
be open at maximum all the way to the to the
right hand end-stop.
Prior to using granules - IMPORTANT:
Set the air flow regulator to the “granules” (page 11):
Check that there are no obstructions below the granule distributor which might
hinder granules dropping into the crucible.
Remove ash from the crucible to ensure adequate airflow for combustion and
ensure that it is properly positioned in its holder.
Remove any ash from beneath the crucible using a poker, empty the ash pan as
necessary:
The area in the ash pan directly beneath the crucible must be
clear of obstructions.
Ensure that the hearth door is closed properly.
Close the hopper cover
Read and apply the instructions in this manual.
