Thisinstructionisnotforpolarscopealignment,norfor
polar scope reticle adjustment. This is for those who
want to rotate the polar scope to align the 12 o’clock
marktotheDECbracketorientation.
Toolneeded:1.5mm,2mmand2.5mmAllenwrenches,
Phillipsscrewdriver
1. Loosentwoscrewsatthefrontofthemountand
two others on the top of a SkyGuider Pro main
boardcoverandremovetheblackcover.
2. Remove the black plastic cover. Remember how
wiresarewrapped.
3. Pullthebeltoffthewormpulley.Thenremovethe
beltfromthesmallmotorpulley.
4. Removethesmallmotorpulleyfromthemotoraxle
byreleaseasetscrewusinga1.5mmallenwrench.
Ifthesetscrewisnotaccessible,youmaygently
turntheblackencoderwheelwithyourfingerto
rotatethemotoraxle.Youneedbeverycarefulnot
to bend the black ticks!Itmayalsoneedalotof
turns.
5. Disconnectbothmotorandbatterycables.
6. RemovethemotorbyreleasetwoPhillipsscrews.
7. Remove two screws that secure the circuit board.
Gently pull the circuit board out of the mount
compartment. There is a LED connection
underneath.
8. DisconnectthepolarscopeLEDcable.
