The OG80 Series keyboards offer three primary ways of connecting to devices: Bluetooth Mode, 2.4GHz Mode, and Wired Mode. This multi-mode capability allows for flexible use with a wide range of computers, phones, and tablets.
In Bluetooth Mode, the keyboard can be paired with up to three different Bluetooth devices. This is achieved by toggling the keyboard's mode switch to the wireless side and then initiating the pairing process by pressing and holding specific FN key combinations (FN+1, FN+2, or FN+3). The indicator light will blink blue during pairing and turn off once successfully connected. This feature is particularly useful for users who frequently switch between multiple devices, such as a desktop computer, a laptop, and a tablet, without needing to re-pair each time.
For the 2.4GHz Mode, the keyboard connects wirelessly via a dedicated 2.4GHz receiver. Similar to Bluetooth, users toggle the mode switch to the wireless side, plug the receiver into their computer, and then press FN+4 to enter 2.4GHz pairing mode. A pink light blinking indicates pairing mode, and the light turns off upon successful connection. This mode offers a stable and low-latency wireless connection, often preferred for gaming or applications where minimal input lag is critical.
The Wired Mode provides a direct and reliable connection via a USB Type-C cable. For wireless versions of the keyboard, users simply toggle the mode switch to the wired side and connect the USB cable to their device.
