IrisReader
IrisReader uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to
display captured text to the reader and will read it aloud one
word at a time. The word being spoken is highlighted on the
display.
1. Cycle to IrisReader mode and center the text you would
like to have read on the screen. If possible, bring the
reading material within about 8-10 inches from your
headset, making sure the text is not cut off on either
side of the screen.
2. Press the Snapshot button to capture the text.
3. Pause the readout by pressing the Snapshot button
once.
4. Resume readout by pressing the Snapshot button again.
5. Swipe towards you on the touchpad to rewind the
readout.
6. Swipe away from you on the touchpad to fast-forward
the readout.
7. Swipe up on the touchpad to increase the font size.
8. Swipe down on the touchpad to decrease the font size.
9. To stop the readout at any time, press the Mode button.
