Important Safeguards
Always retain the instruction booklet and other important information in a safe
place as this may be required for future reference.
Do not use in direct sunlight
Do not use in wet or damp conditions
Do not site the product on or near sources of electromagnetic pollution, vibration or where the
ventilation is poor as this may cause damage the product or could interfere to other products
Do not site the product near a heat source as this may have a detrimental effect on the product
Do not place containers lled with water or any other liquid on the top of the product as this
may damage the product
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners on the product as this may damage the aesthetics of the
product.
Please be advised there are no user serviceable components inside the product however it is
recommended that the record player needle is changed on a regular basis as this will ensure that
the sound produced will be crisp and clear.
Do not place candles or naked ame sources on the top of the product as this may damage the
product
When handling electrical items ensure that your hands are dry
Always switch off at the socket before removing the plug ,from the wall socket.
Ensure that the product is compliant with your house electrical system. If you are unsure please
consult a qualied electrician or dealer.
Never disconnect the plug by pulling the power cable as this may damage the plug and/or socket
If water has entered the body of the product please switch off at the wall socket and then
consult a qualied electrician for an inspection and /or repair
If the product becomes damaged or has malfunctioned please take to a qualied electrician for
an inspection and /or repair
This product is intended for household use only.
This product is not intended for use by children or the inrm without adequate supervision or
training
Should the product malfunction due to electrostatic discharge, switch off at the wall socket and
allow 30 minutes for the charge to dissipate before reconnecting the power supply.
Do not bend or twist the power cord as this may damage the internal core and insulation of the
power cord.
Ensure that there are no metallic objects placed in the internal space of the product as this may
damage the product and cause a risk of electric shock to the user.
Always follow the guidelines set out in the instruction manual, as they are designed to
ensure that the product reaches its full life expectancy and that you have a safe and
enjoyable time using your product
Electrical safely
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE: NEUTRAL (N)
BROWN: LIVE (L)
Class 2 Conguration
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE (or coloured BLACK) must be connected to the
NEUTRAL terminal which is marked with the letter “N”.
The wire which is coloured BROWN (or coloured RED) must be connected to the
LIVE terminal which is marked with the letter “L
Always ensure that the Mains Cord is xed into the plug through the Cord Guard or Cable
Clamp, (plug wiring diagram above), and that the Cord Guard screws are tightened to clamp
the cord (outer sheath and inner coloured wires) into position in the plug. Make sure that the
plug top is also tted securely.
This appliance must be protected by a 3 Amp fuse in a 13 Amp type (BS1363) plug. Should you
need to replace the fuse, use only a 3 Amp ASTA approved BS1362 fuse (3A).
OPERATION GUIDELINES
It is important to ensure the correct Plug Adaptor is used when operating in a country not
using the UK 13 Amp socket system. If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician

Ensure that the product is placed on a at level surface in a dust free ,cool dry enviroment with
good ventalation and where it cannot be knocked or bumped aqnd the power cable will no
cause a trip hazard.
