Check that the exhaust hose is properly connected and free from blockages. Also, make sure that all windows and doors are closed to prevent warm air from entering. The temperature setting might be too high, so try decreasing it. The room might be too large for the unit's capacity, so double-check the cooling area. Finally, remove any heat sources inside the room if possible. If none of these steps help, the unit may be low on refrigerant, and you should call a service technician to inspect the unit and replace the refrigerant.
