Check the contents of the box

Become familiar with the system

Determine the type of EIA rack;cabinet

Match mounting bracket to EIA rack;cabinet type

Set the rails to the desired position

Mount the outer slide rail on the rack

Install the chassis

Install the drive trays in the enclosure

Connect the expansion shelves

Prepare for initial configuration

Attach the TrueNAS faceplate

Power on all expansion shelves

Plug in the power cords

Perform TrueNAS initial software configuration
