5. Installation of the infrared sensor
The infrared sensor is used to check for any movement around the gate when opening and closing.
If the infrared ray is interrupted, the gate operator will immediately reverse and run in the other
direction. This feature does not work if the gate is fully opened and closed.
The installation height of the sensor
should be 20 cm and the distance should
not be less than 2 m.
At rst, attach the receiver of the
infrared sensor perpendicular to the wall
with screws. The connection knot should
be below (see Fig. 8).
Then attach the emitter of the infrared sensor on the other side. The connection knot
should also be below.
Make sure the receiver and the emitter are at the same level.
Connect the receiver and the emitter with cables according to Fig. 9.

Warning!
1. The infrared sensor does not work if the distance between the receiver and the
emitter is less than 2 m.
2. Dust will affect the reception of the infrared sensor. Please regularly clean the
infrared sensor.
