In seeking to make the Pink Flow
as versatile as possible, we have
proceeded to introduce the following
features:
 TAP tempo with subdivisions on
the Delay Llama.
 Delay Llama trails mode.
 External TAP tempo IN.
 Send / Return FX loop between the
Overdrive and Modulation sections
for you to place other effects in.
 True Bypass Relay Switching.
SIGNAL CHAIN
1. Seagull: the seagull effect heard
in “Echoes”! To properly operate the
Seagull effect:
 Make sure your guitar has passive
pickups. 
 Engage the effect with the foot-
switch.
 Turn your guitar’s volume knob all
the way up.
 Change the effect’s pitch by
manipulating your guitar’s tone pot.
2. Dyna-ssoR: A realisation of
our inspiration to combine a Ross
Compressor
®
and a vintage
DynaComp
®
using the extremely rare
NOS CA3080 chip.
 LVL controls the Dyna-ssoR’s level
 SUS sets the amount of compression
/ sustain.
3. Tubedreamer: a JRC4558D
equipped 808 style overdrive
offering a carefully tuned, midrange
frequency register, that delivers
warm and rich overdriven sound
through any amp. Features a high-
gain footswitch.
 LVL controls the Tubedreamer level.
 TONE adjusts the tone.
 GAIN sets the gain level.
 Toggle-switch selects between
High and Low Gain stages.
4. Red Muck: a Fuzz / Distortion pedal,
inspired from the circuits of the ’71
“triangle” and the later “Red Army /
Civil War” Muff.
 LVL controls the Red Muck’s level.
 TONE adjusts the tone.
 GAIN sets the gain level.
 Toggle-switch selects between
symmetrical or asymmetrical
clipping.
5. FX Loop Send / Return: Connect
other effect/s to place them AFTER
the Red Muck and BEFORE the
WaterFall. SEND goes to said
pedals’ input and RETURN receives
the output.
6. WaterFall: a smooth, lush-sounding
Chorus / Vibrato pedal, featuring
BBD chips, with 2 toggle-switches,
one to select between chorus and
vibrato modes, and another to
switch to a wetter effect.
 DEPTH sets the depth of the effect
 SPEED sets the speed of the effect
 LEFT toggle-switch selects between
subtle and more intense modulation
response.
 RIGHT toggle-switch selects
between Chorus and Vibrato modes
 Internal Trimmer sets the maximum
modulation speed.
7. Ripple: Smooth, sweet and
transparent 2-stage phaser pedal,
with a single SPEED control setting
the effect’s rate.
8. Delay Llama: A fully analog,
BBD chip, delay pedal with a
maximum delay time of 600ms,
Tap Tempo, HOLD function, and
Delay Time expression pedal input.
Features a two-position toggle-
switch for trails mode ON/OFF and
external Tap Tempo input
 TAP Footswitch sets the tempo
of your repeats. Prolonged pressing
will engage the HOLD function.
 Sub-division toggle-switch
for tapping in 3 different note values
 TIME sets the delay time
 LVL sets the MIX level of the repeats
on top of the dry signal.
 REPEATS sets the amount of repeats
 TRAILS toggle-switch: right side is
ON / left side is OFF, allows for
the effect’s repeats to fade out
gradually after you have turned the
Delay Llama off. There is also an
internal trimmer to determine the
decay of the Trails!
 Internal trimmer to adjust the
maximum amount of repeats
dramatically affecting the HOLD
function’s response.
 TAP input allows you to remotely
control the tempo of your repeats
 EXP expression pedal input to
control the delay time (we
recommend our EXP1 expression
pedal for ensured compatibility).

The "Pink Flow" is a comprehensive multi-effects pedal designed by JAM Pedals, combining several individual pedal designs into a single unit to provide a versatile array of effects for guitarists. This device aims to offer essential tools for creating "Pink" lines and enhancing sound in both live and recording environments.

Function Description:

The Pink Flow integrates eight distinct effects pedals in a specific signal chain, each with its unique function and controls:

1. Seagull: This effect emulates the distinctive "seagull" sound heard in "Echoes." It is designed to work with passive guitar pickups. When engaged, the effect's pitch can be manipulated by the guitar's tone pot, with the guitar's volume knob turned all the way up.

2. Dyna-ssoR: A compressor pedal inspired by a combination of the Ross Compressor® and a vintage DynaComp®, utilizing a rare NOS CA3080 chip. It features a "LVL" control to adjust the output level and a "SUS" control to set the amount of compression or sustain.

3. Tubedreamer: An overdrive pedal equipped with a JRC4558D chip, offering an 808-style overdrive sound. It provides a carefully tuned, midrange frequency register for warm and rich overdriven tones through any amplifier. It includes a high-gain footswitch. Controls include "LVL" for the output level, "TONE" for tone adjustment, and "GAIN" for setting the gain level. A toggle-switch allows selection between High and Low Gain stages.

4. Red Muck: A fuzz/distortion pedal inspired by the circuits of the '71 "triangle" and later "Red Army/Civil War" Muff pedals. 5. FX Loop Send / Return: This feature allows users to integrate other external effects pedals into the Pink Flow's signal chain. The "SEND" output connects to the input of external pedals, and the "RETURN" input receives the output from those pedals.

6. WaterFall: A smooth, lush-sounding chorus/vibrato pedal that uses BBD chips. It includes two toggle-switches: one to select between chorus and vibrato modes, and another to switch to a "wetter" effect. Controls include "DEPTH" to set the intensity of the effect and "SPEED" to adjust the rate of the effect. A LEFT toggle-switch selects between subtle and more intense modulation response, while a RIGHT toggle-switch selects between Chorus and Vibrato modes.

7. Ripple: A smooth, sweet, and transparent two-stage phaser pedal. It features a single "SPEED" control to set the rate of the phasing effect.

8. Delay Llama: A fully analog delay pedal utilizing BBD chips, offering a maximum delay time of 600ms. It features a two-position toggle-switch for trails mode (ON/OFF) and an external Tap Tempo input. The "TAP" footswitch sets the tempo of the repeats, with prolonged pressing engaging the HOLD function. A sub-division toggle-switch allows tapping in three different note values. "TIME" sets the delay time, "LVL" sets the mix level of the repeats on top of the dry signal, and "REPEATS" sets the amount of repeats. The "TRAILS" toggle-switch (right side ON/left side OFF) allows the effect's repeats to fade out gradually after the Delay Llama is turned off.

Usage Features:

The Pink Flow is designed for intuitive use with a range of features that enhance its versatility and performance:

• Tap Tempo with Subdivisions: The Delay Llama features Tap Tempo, allowing users to easily synchronize the delay repeats with the music's tempo. A sub-division toggle-switch provides flexibility for tapping in three different note values, offering rhythmic variety.
• Delay Llama Trails Mode: This mode allows delay repeats to naturally decay and fade out even after the pedal is disengaged, providing a smoother transition and preventing abrupt cut-offs. This feature can be toggled ON/OFF via a dedicated switch.
• External TAP Tempo IN: For greater control, the Delay Llama can be synchronized with an external Tap Tempo source, making it easier to integrate into complex setups or live performances.
• Expression Pedal Input: The Delay Llama includes an expression pedal input, allowing real-time control over the delay time. This enables dynamic and expressive manipulation of the delay effect during performance.
• FX Loop for Customization: The integrated Send/Return FX loop provides a crucial point for customization, allowing users to insert their preferred modulation or time-based effects between the Red Muck and WaterFall pedals. This expands the sonic possibilities of the Pink Flow.
• Toggle-Switches for Effect Variation: Many pedals within the Pink Flow feature toggle-switches to select between different modes or characteristics, such as High/Low Gain on the Tubedreamer, symmetrical/asymmetrical clipping on the Red Muck, Chorus/Vibrato and subtle/intense modulation on the WaterFall, and Trails ON/OFF on the Delay Llama. These switches provide quick access to a wide range of tones.
• Dedicated Controls for Each Effect: Each effect in the Pink Flow has its own set of dedicated knobs for parameters like Level, Tone, Gain, Depth, Speed, Time, Repeats, and Sustain, allowing for precise shaping of each individual effect.
• Footswitches for Engagement: Each effect section (Dyna-ssoR, Tubedreamer, Red Muck, WaterFall, Ripple, Delay Llama) has its own footswitch for easy engagement and disengagement during performance. The Seagull effect also has a dedicated footswitch.
• Input and Output Jacks: Standard IN and OUT jacks are provided for connecting the guitar and amplifier, respectively. A 9V DC power input ensures compatibility with common power supplies.

Maintenance Features:

The Pink Flow includes features designed for longevity and user-serviceability, particularly for fine-tuning the effects:

• True Bypass Relay Switching: This feature ensures that when the pedal is disengaged, the guitar signal passes through unaffected, preserving the natural tone of the instrument. For the Delay Llama, a buffered bypass option is available when trails mode is active.
• Internal Trimmers for Fine-Tuning: The device includes three internal trimmers, accessible by removing the bottom cover. These trimmers allow users to further tweak specific parameters:
  1. WaterFall Speed: An internal trimmer allows for adjusting the maximum modulation speed of the WaterFall, providing more granular control beyond the external "SPEED" knob.
  2. Delay Llama Repeats: An internal trimmer allows for adjusting the maximum amount of repeats on the Delay Llama, significantly affecting the response of the HOLD function.
  3. Delay Llama Trails Decay: An internal trimmer allows for determining the decay rate of the trails when the Delay Llama's trails mode is active, enabling users to customize how gradually the repeats fade out.
