24 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY
Claims and repairs should be processed through the nearest
authorized supplier. Except for express warranties made
herein, all other warranties, including implied warranties
of merchantability and warranties of fitness for a particular
purpose are excluded. There are not warranties which extend
beyond the description on the face hereof. Remedies for
breach of express warranties herein are limited to repair or
replacement of the goods. In no event shall damages for
breach of any warranty include any consequential damages
or exceed the cost of non-conforming goods sold.
24 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY
Each Jay J3 Back is carefully inspected and tested to provide
peak performance. Every Jay J3 Back is guaranteed to be free
from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 24
months from the date of purchase, provided normal use. Should
a defect in materials or workmanship occur within 24 months
from the original date of purchase, Sunrise Medical will, at its
option, repair or replace it without charge. This warranty does not
apply to punctures, tears or burns, nor to the back’s removable
cover.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not use or prescribe this backrest for anyone exceeding the stated Maximum User Weight.
RECYCLING / RE-USE:

• Always have an authorized Sunrise Medical dealer inspect the product for damage or wear prior to transferring it to
another user. If any type of damage is found, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT.
• Failure to heed these warnings may lead to severe injury.
This Product is suitable for re-use*:
• Have an authorized Sunrise Medical dealer inspect the shell, mounting hardware, foam and cover for damage or wear. If any
damage is found, do not re-use.
• Clean and disinfect the shell, mounting hardware foam and cover in accordance with local government regulations. Refer to
your local Infection Control Office for advice.
• After cleaning and disinfection, have a authorised Sunrise Medical dealer re-inspect the shell, hardware, foam and cover to
insure that the cleaning/disinfection process did not cause any damage.
WARNINGS:
• Failure to follow the re-use directions can lead to Severe Injury of the User.
• When being re-used, this product should be adapted and fit to the new user by a authorized Sunrise Medical dealer
or clinician.
