Sanitizing Units with Utility Center
1. Drain the water tank and water heater completely by opening all faucets and low
point drains until tank and heater are empty.
2. In a large bucket prepare a chlorine solution using 3/4 cup of household bleach and
three (3) gallons (12 liters) of water.
3. Attach the intake hose to the “City Fill Connection” located under
the utility center panel. (Fig. 4-8) Place the free end in the bucket
of chlorine solution.
4. Position the “Control Valves” on the “Utility Panel” to the “Sani-
tize Tank” configuration. (Fig. 4-6)
5. Turn the “Water Pump Switch (Fig. 4-7) to the “ON” position and
pump all of the chlorine solution into the tank.
