TROUBLESHOOTING
If you are using the Speaker In connections and there
is no sound from any of the speakers, check the
following:
• Receiver/amplifier is on and a source is playing.
• The subwoofer is plugged in to an active AC outlet and turned on.
• Check all wires and connections between receiver/amplifier and
speakers. Make sure all wires are connected. Make sure none of
the speaker wires are frayed, cut or punctured.
• Review proper operation of your receiver/amplifier.
If there is low bass output, check the following:
• Make sure the connections to left and right Speaker In have the
correct polarity (+and –).
• Make sure that the subwoofer is plugged into an active AC outlet
and turned on.
• Select the phase switch setting which provides maximum bass
output at the listening position.
• Adjust the crossover point.
• Adjust the Contour control.
• Turn up the bass with the Level control.
If you used the Line In connections and there is no
sound from the subwoofer, check the following:
• Receiver/amplifier is on and a source is playing.
• The subwoofer is plugged in and turned on.
• Check all wires and connections between receiver/amplifier and
subwoofer. Make sure all wires are connected. Make sure none of
the wires are frayed, cut or punctured.
• Review proper operation of your receiver/amplifier.
If you hear high levels of midrange frequencies from
the subwoofer in addition to bass, check the following:
• Make certain that Filter Defeat is not pressed.
• Try a lower crossover frequency using the Filter control.
