The stroller is intended for everyday use and features various adjustments for child comfort and user convenience.
Function Description:
The Jeep Ultra Lite Adventure Stroller serves as a means of transporting a child, offering features for safety, comfort, and ease of use for the parent or guardian. It includes a safety harness system to secure the child, adjustable seating positions, an adjustable footrest, and a canopy for sun protection. The stroller is designed to be foldable for storage and transport.
Important Technical Specifications:
- Assembly: Requires adult assembly due to small parts. Assembly parts should be kept out of reach of children under 3 years.
- Child Weight/Height Limit: The stroller is suitable for children weighing up to 50 pounds (22.62 kg) or up to 42 inches (106.7 cm) tall. Using the stroller with children exceeding these limits may create hazardous unstable conditions.
- Age Recommendation for Jogging: If used for jogging, the child occupant should be at least 6 months of age.
- Storage Basket/Child Tray Weight Limit: The lower basket and child tray each have a maximum weight capacity of 3 lbs (1.36 kg). Exceeding this limit can lead to hazardous unstable conditions.
- Safety Harness: Features a 5-point safety harness system with adjustable waist belts and shoulder straps to ensure the child is properly positioned and secured.
- Brakes: Equipped with back wheel brakes that must be engaged when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent it from rolling away.
- Folding Mechanism: Utilizes a dual-action folding mechanism, requiring a slide and squeeze action on the handle to fold and unfold.
Usage Features:
- Opening the Stroller: To open, slide the unlock tab from right to left with your thumb and hold. While holding the unlock tab, squeeze the bottom button and pull the stroller handle back and up until it clicks into a fully open and locked position. It is crucial to test that the stroller is fully locked before placing a child inside.
- Attaching/Removing Child Bar: To attach, insert both sides of the child bar into the bottom of the child posts until they "CLICK" into a locked position. Pull upward to ensure it's secure. To remove, squeeze the tabs inward on both sides of the child bar and lift upward.
- Back Wheel Brakes: To engage, push downward on each brake lever (Fig. 3B) until they are fully locked, ensuring the stroller does not move when pushed. To release, gently lift up under each brake lever (Fig. 3C). Always lock brakes when the stroller is stationary, especially on hills or inclines, and never leave a child unattended.
- Seat Back Adjustment:
- Recline Position: Squeeze both sides of the cord housing and pull away (Fig. 4) to recline the seat.
- Upright Position: Hold the bottom cord loops while squeezing the cord housing upwards toward the backseat (Fig. 4A) to return to an upright position. Only children with sufficient upper body control to sit without leaning forward should use the front seat in the upright position.
- Adjustable Footrest: Pull the lever located underneath the footrest forward and rotate it upward or downward to adjust to the desired position (Fig. 6).
- Canopy Adjustment: To open, push forward on the front frame of the canopy (Fig. 5). To close, push on the front edge backward until the canopy is fully collapsed (Fig. 5A).
- Securing the Child:
- Place the child in the stroller and position the crotch belt between their legs.
- Pull shoulder straps over the child's arms and shoulders and fasten both strap ends to the restraint system.
- Fasten both waist belts to the buckle on each side of the crotch belt, ensuring a "click" is heard.
- Check that the restraint system is securely attached by pulling it away from the child.
- Tightening the Waist Belts and Shoulder Straps:
- Waist Belts: Feed the anchored end of a waist belt up through the buckle to form a loop (A), then pull the free end of the waist belt (B) to tighten. Repeat for the other waist belt.
- Shoulder Straps: Feed the top end of the shoulder strap through the plastic stay to form a loop (C), then pull the bottom end down to tighten the strap (D). Repeat for the other shoulder strap.
- Loosening the Waist Belts and Shoulder Straps:
- Waist Belts: Feed the free end of the waist belt up through the buckle to form a loop (A). Enlarge the loop by pulling the end of the loop toward the buckle. Pull the anchored end of the waist belt to shorten the free end of the waist belt (B). Repeat for the other waist belt.
- Shoulder Straps: Feed the bottom end of the shoulder strap through the plastic stay to form a loop (C). Pull the top end up to loosen the strap (D). Repeat for the other shoulder strap.
- After adjusting, always pull on the restraint system to ensure it is securely fastened.
- Folding the Stroller: The canopy must be closed. Use the dual-action mechanism: slide the unlock tab from right to left with your thumb and hold. While holding the unlock tab, squeeze the bottom button and pull the stroller handle back and up before pressing the handle downward into a fully closed position (Fig. 7A). Pull upward on the stroller handle to ensure it is in a fully closed position.
