z PLAYBACK
1. Press the POWER Button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the FUNCTION button to select “ iPod
” mode and the system will start playback
automatically
3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE
button to pause or resume iPod playback.
4. Press the skip up
or down button to select the desire music track.
5. Adjust volume control to the desire volume level.
z CHARGING
When the iPod is docked in the docking bay it can be charged in all function modes except
tuner mode.
z iPod CONTROL FUNCTION KEYS (USING REMOTE CONTROL)
You are recommended to control the iPod by using following “ i-menu “ buttons instead of pressing
the iPod controls directly after it docked into the system.
TO: PRESS:
Pause play PLAY/PAUSE
Resume play after pause PLAY/PAUSE
Scan forward or backward And hold or
Skip single tracks SKIP next or SKIP previous briefly
iPod MENU i-MEMU(Remote only)
iPod MENU SCROLL UP/DOWN i-SCROLL or (Remote only)
iPod ENTER FUNCTION i-ENTER(Remote only)
iPod RANDOM PLAYBACK i-SHUFFLE(Remote only)
iPod REPEAT PLAYBACK i-REPEAT(Remote only)
Control the volume VOL+ / VOL-
Switch between the preset EQ PRESET EQ repeatedly (Remote only)
Stop output from speakers MUTE(Remote only)
Note: 1. To prevent damaging the dock connector, never twist the iPod when inserting or removing
it. Make sure the connector in the dock is lined up with the connector on the iPod before
attaching.
2. Be careful not to knock over the iPod when it is inserted in the dock.
SLEEP TIMER OPERATIONS
1. In Power On mode, press the SLEEP button on the remote control once, the sleep indicator
will appear on the LCD display.
2. Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to select the desired sleep time. The sleep timer has four
settings to choose from: 90, 60, 30 or 15 minutes. The system will stop and go into standby
mode automatically after selected sleep time has expired.
3. To check the current sleep time, press the SLEEP button once.
4. To cancel the sleep mode, press the SLEEP button repeatedly until the “
indicator
disappear from LCD display.
5. Press the POWER
Button once to switch off the system before the selected sleep time
expires
NOTE:
1. The sleep timer can only be controlled by remote control.
2. If you press the SLEEP button once and the “
“ indicator appear on the LCD display, the
system will go into standby mode automatically after selected time has expired.
3. If you are falling asleep to music from an external device connected to AUX input, the sleep
timer will shut off the power to this system but it will not turn off power to the external device.
