Haze

Folding Electric Bike Battery.

A guide for your spare or replacement part.

CARING FOR THE BATTERY

• Min/Max charging temperature: 0°C ~ 45°C (32°F ~ 113°F)

• Do not use in temperatures below -10°C (14°F) or above 40°C (104°F)

• Keep away from fire and excessive heat.

• Avoid intense physical impact and/or severe vibration.

• Protect from water or moisture.

• Do not disassemble.

• When storing the Haze, turn the battery power o.

• If there are any issues with the battery, please contact the Jetson Care Team.

5. Do not attempt to use any other battery with your Haze, or to charge

any other rechargeable battery or any non-rechargeable battery with

your Haze charger.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 12 and above

(in the US) and 16 and above (in Canada). Persons with reduced

physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and

product knowledge can use the product with supervision, if given

proper instruction on safe usage, and having understood the hazards

involved in use.

7. Children shall not play with the appliance.

8. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be handled by children

without supervision.

9. Charge indoors.

10. For pluggable equipment, the socket-outlet shall be installed near

the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

STORING

• Fully charge the battery before storing (up to 5 hour per charge).

• Cover the bike to protect it against dust.

• Store indoors, in a dry place, and at a temperature above 10°C (50°F).

• Bring the Haze into a warm (above 10°C/50°F) environment for charging.

• Charging port cover should remain covered/closed when storing.

• Turn o battery switch when not using the Haze for prolonged periods

(30+ days). Failure to do so may result in a malfunctioning battery.

• Ideal Storage Temperature: 1 month — 0°C ~ 45°C | 32°F ~ 113°F

1-3 months — 5°C ~ 40°C | 41°F ~ 104°F

3 months-1 year — 10°C ~ 35°C | 50°F ~ 95°F

Usage Features:

Compatibility: This battery is designed to work solely with the Jetson Haze Folding Electric Bike (JHAZE). It is not compatible with other bike models or other Haze batteries that may have come with your original bike if they are not the exact PJHAZE-BTK model.
Keyed Access: The battery comes with two access keys (x2) that are specifically designed to lock and unlock this particular battery into the bike. These keys are unique to this battery and may not work with other Haze batteries. Users are advised to keep their original starter set of keys, even if the original battery is lost or disposed of, as those keys are needed to utilize the bike's rear wheel lock.
Charging Flexibility: The battery can be charged both when it is installed in the bike and when it is removed, offering convenience for users.

Maintenance Features:

Storage Preparation: Before storing the battery, it should be fully charged (up to 5 hours per charge).
Power Off for Storage: When storing the Haze, the battery power must be turned off. For prolonged periods (30+ days), the battery switch should be turned off. Failure to do so may result in a malfunctioning battery.
Storage Environment:
- Store indoors, in a dry place, and at a temperature above 10°C (50°F).
- Bring the Haze into a warm environment (above 10°C/50°F) for charging if it has been stored in colder conditions.
- Cover the bike to protect it against dust during storage.
Cleaning and User Maintenance: Cleaning and user maintenance should not be handled by children without supervision.
