Usage Features:
The JKF50 features a control panel with an LED display for temperature settings and operational status.
- Turning On/Off: A dedicated button allows the user to switch the fridge on or off.
- Temperature Setting: Users can switch between refrigerator (rE) and freezing room (Fr) temperature setting modes using a specific button. Temperature adjustments are made using "+" and "-" buttons.
- Temperature Range: The refrigerator can maintain temperatures between 0°C and 8°C (32°F to 46°F), while the freezing room can reach -12°C to -20°C (10°F to -4°F). These ranges are based on an ambient temperature of 25°C / 77°F for fast cooling to 0°C / 32°F.
- Temperature Unit Setting: The display unit can be switched between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). This is done by turning off the fridge, holding the Settings button for 3 seconds until "E1" shows, then pressing the Settings button repeatedly until "E5" shows, and finally using "+" or "-" to change the unit.

Installation Requirements:
Installation should ideally be carried out by an appropriately qualified person.
- Ventilation: Adequate ventilation is crucial for heat dissipation. The cabinet housing the fridge must allow for a minimum of 20mm space at the rear and top, and 10mm side space. Internal cabinet dimensions should be 580mm (wide) x 730mm (high) x 700mm (deep).
- Placement: The fridge should be kept on a level horizontal surface and away from heat sources. It must remain in a dry environment and not be exposed to sources of water, direct sunlight, gas hobs/ovens, or heaters.
- Fixing: The JKF50 must be adequately fixed within the cabinet to maintain stability. This involves removing blanking covers on the inside of the refrigerator wall, drilling holes through the side metal panel, and securing with suitable screws (not supplied). Blanking covers should then be returned to cover the screw holes.
- Wiring: The manual provides specific wire length to refrigerator, wire gauge, and wire diameter requirements (e.g., Maximum 6m requires 14AWG with 64.1mm diameter). Connections to the vehicle's 12/24VDC system should be direct.
