FIRST TIME SETUP: BLUETOOTH PAIRING
Notes:
• Bluetooth is a wireless radio technology, which means it is sensitive to objects between the headphone and the connected device.
The headphone is designed to be used within 33 feet (10 meters) of a connected device, with no major objects in between (walls, etc.).
• Once successfully connected, the headphone will memorize your device and automatically pair when turned on in the future.
Only one device may be connected at a time. To pair a different device, first unpair the current one through its Bluetooth settings.
• If for any reason Bluetooth connection is lost, manually reconnect your Bluetooth device.

Turn on the Bluetooth
in your device settings.

Release. Lights will flash blue/red.
Select “JLab Studio Pro ANC” in your
device settings to connect.
PAIRING NEW / ADDITIONAL DEVICES:
Turn OFF Bluetooth on your previously paired device and turn ON Bluetooth on new device.
Repeat FIRST TIME STEUP process for new devices.

Function Description

The JLab Studio Pro ANC headphones are designed to deliver a high-quality audio experience with the added benefit of Active Noise Control (ANC). They offer both wireless Bluetooth connectivity and a wired auxiliary input option, making them versatile for various listening scenarios, including in-flight entertainment or use without battery power. The headphones feature a built-in microphone for hands-free calling and voice assistant activation.

Usage Features

First-Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing

To begin using the headphones wirelessly, ensure Bluetooth is enabled in your device's settings. Then, press and hold the power button on the headphones for 8 seconds until the lights flash blue/red, indicating pairing mode. Finally, select "JLab Studio Pro ANC" from the list of available devices in your settings to connect. Once successfully connected, the headphones will memorize your device and automatically pair in the future.

Pairing New / Additional Devices

To pair with a new device, first, turn off Bluetooth on any previously paired device. Then, enable Bluetooth on the new device and repeat the first-time setup process. The headphones can only be connected to one device at a time. If the Bluetooth connection is lost for any reason, you may need to manually reconnect through your device's Bluetooth settings.

Button Functions

The headphones are equipped with intuitive button controls for various functions:

• Volume Up: Press once to increase volume.
• Track Forward: Press and hold for 2+ seconds to skip to the next track.
• Volume Down: Press once to decrease volume.
• Track Backward: Press and hold for 2+ seconds to go to the previous track.
• Power On / Off: Press and hold for 2+ seconds to power the headphones on or off.
• Play / Pause / Answer / Hang Up Calls: Press once to play or pause audio, or to answer or end a call.
• Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1 second to reject an incoming call.
• Activate Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Press twice to activate your device's voice assistant.
• Bluetooth Pairing: Refer to the "First Time Setup" section for detailed instructions.

Switch EQ (Equalizer)

The headphones offer three equalizer settings to customize your audio experience:

• JLab SIGNATURE (One Beep): Provides JLab C3™ signature sound with amplified vocals and bass.
• BALANCED (Two Beeps): Offers an even sound with no additional sound enhancements.
• BASS BOOST (Three Beeps): Delivers amplified bass and sub-bass. To switch between these modes, press and hold both the volume up and volume down buttons simultaneously for 3+ seconds.

Active Noise Control (ANC)

The ANC feature helps reduce ambient noise for a more immersive listening experience.

• When Connected to Bluetooth: Press once to cycle through "Be Aware," "ANC High," "ANC Low," and "ANC Off" modes. "Be Aware" mode allows you to hear your surroundings while still enjoying your audio.
• When Connected to AUX: Press and hold for 2+ seconds to power ON ANC. Once ANC is on, press once to cycle through "Be Aware," "ANC High," "ANC Low," and "ANC Off" modes.

AUX Input

The headphones can be used with an auxiliary cable, which is useful for connecting to in-flight media entertainment systems or for listening without battery power.

• Note: When connected via AUX input, the ANC function can still be activated by pressing and holding the ANC button for 2+ seconds. However, the AUX input will override your Bluetooth connection, and the button functions for your Bluetooth device will not work. Volume control will depend on your AUX device settings. To revert to Bluetooth, unplug the AUX cable and press the power button for 2+ seconds.

Charging

To charge the headphones, connect the provided charging cable to a computer or a USB 5V 1A (or less) output device. The charging indicator will show when the headphones are charging and when they are fully charged.

Maintenance Features

Cautions

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your JLab Studio Pro ANC headphones, observe the following cautions:

• Moisture and Liquids: Avoid exposing the headphone cups to moisture or liquids.
• Temperature Extremes: Do not expose the headphones to extreme heat, cold, or humidity.
• Physical Stress: Avoid dropping or crushing the headphones. Do not stress the cable by rapid pulling or extreme force, and avoid bending the cable at sharp angles.
• Sound Quality: Wax buildup in the headphone cups can lower sound quality. Regularly remove wax with a cotton swab or another small tool.
• Discomfort: If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or discontinuing use temporarily. If regular discomfort persists, discontinue use and consult your physician.
• Storage: Treat your headphones like a nice pair of sunglasses and store them in a safe location when not in use.
