NOTE: Some installations may require cutting the main panel and extension panel.
Position the adapter correctly on its seat in the main panel of the window kit, snap it
in by pushing it inwards and align the screw holes. Lock with the 2 self-tapping screws
The air exhaust pipe cannot be bent with a flexion greater than 45 °, a necessary condi-
tion to maintain good ventilation.
Connect to a 3-pin grounded outlet.
Do not remove the earth pin from the power cord plug.
Do not use an adapter.
Do not use an extension cable.
METHOD OF USE OF THE APPLIANCE
This appliance can be used for cooling, dehumidification and ventilation.
When switching from one mode to another, the fan continues to operate, but the com-
pressor stops: the compressor restarts after 3 minutes. This start delay protects the
compressor from damage.
THE DRAIN PIPE MUST ALWAYS BE CONNECTED to the appliance: the only exception
when using the appliance in dehumidification or ventilation only: in this case it is advi-
sable to let the appliance drain directly into the room, to obtain maximum efficiency
(see paragraph dehumidification mode).
Periodically clean the air filters to keep the air conditioner efficient.
Operating mode
Cooling mode (cool)
Press the “MODE” button to select the “cooling” mode, the “Cool” LED on the control
panel lights up.
The temperature adjustment range goes from 17 ° C to 30 ° C (62 ° F - 86 ° F)
In this mode, you can adjust the fan speed and set the timer.
For quieter operation reduce the speed to a minimum (low).
Dehumidification mode (dehum)
Press the “MODE” button to select dehumidification, the relative LED will light up.
NOTE
The appliance does not cool the environment when it works as a dehumidifier.
When using the appliance as a dehumidifier, it is recommended not to connect the fle-
xible hose (except in hot weather).
