in addition to dehumidification, the environment will also be heated (instead of coo-
ling); in this case, a continuous condensate drain must also be connected (see the next
paragraph).
Grasp both ends of the drain tube and gently pull to expand the tube. Engage the two
ends of the exhaust pipe at the ends of the same, by screwing it counterclockwise.
Insert the rectangular end into the attachment on the back of the air conditioner,
pushing it into the guide provided.
NOTE: Do not connect additional hoses to increase length.
This would reduce the cooling efficiency and could damage the air conditioner.
Assembling the window kit
Depending on the size of the window, use the main panel with or without the extension
panel.
Open the window and place the panel.
NOTE: The window kit is designed for vertically sliding or horizontally sliding windows.
Remove the wing nut and remove the screw.
Place the wing nut on panel A and do not lock it firmly, but keep a distance of 2.5mm.
Connect panel B, adjust to the width or height of the window as shown.
Lock the wing nut to secure the kit to the window.
