That the unit delivery and suction grilles are always free;
the air filters are always clean, a dirty filter decreases the passage of air and reduces the
performance of the unit;
doors and windows are closed to prevent the infiltration of non-conditioned air;
the hose is correctly positioned, without kinks or bends that are too tight.
