Usage Features
The Loredo T25-R amplifier offers a range of features designed for versatile use and sound customization:
Front Panel Controls:
- Input (1): 1/4" mono jack for connecting an electric guitar.
- Gain (2): Adjusts the preamp level, allowing for more overdrive at higher settings.
- Equalizer Controls (Bass (3), Middle (4), Treble (5)): Three-band EQ for shaping the low, mid, and high frequencies. Knobs can be turned clockwise to boost and counter-clockwise to cut, with a center position for no cut or boost.
- Reverb (6): Controls the amount of Accutronics/Johnson reverb effect applied to the guitar's signal.
- Master/Volume (7): Adjusts the overall output volume of the amplifier.
- Foot Switch (8): 1/4" jack for connecting an optional single-button footswitch to engage/disengage the reverb.
- LED (9): Indicates power status (lit when power is on).
- Standby Toggle Switch (10): Keeps the tubes powered up to avoid warm-up delays between sessions and extends tube lifetime.
- Power Toggle Switch (11): Turns the amplifier on or off.
Rear Panel Controls and Connections:
- Fuse Holder (12): Contains the amplifier's protection fuse.
- Power IEC Socket (13): For connecting the power cord.
- Wet/Dry Blend Control (14): Mix control for the FX loop, allowing users to blend the dry signal with the signal from external effects units. Turning to "Dry" provides no effects, while turning to "Wet" sends only the FX device's signal to the power amplifier.
- Effects (IN/RECEIVE) (15): 1/4" mono jack for receiving signal from an external effects or signal processing device.
- Effects (OUT/SEND) (16): 1/4" mono jack for sending signal from the amp to an external effects or signal processing device.
- External Speaker (17): 1/4" mono jack for connecting an additional external 8-Ohm speaker. Warning: Do not plug in headphones here to avoid hearing damage.
