**This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature to reduce
the risk of electric shock. this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. if the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug, if it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension
cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

Assembly Preparation and Steps

Pre-Assembly Checks

Bulb Specifications

Use ON/OFF type 'A' bulb max 100W, CFL max 23W, or LED max 12W. An LED 9W bulb is included.

Step 1: Base and Neck Assembly

Connect the Neck (B) to the Lamp Base (A) and screw securely, avoiding twisting the power cord.

Step 2: Shade and Bulb Installation

Insert Harp (E) into Saddle (C), place Shade (F) on Harp (E), tighten Finial (G), and insert Bulb (H).

Step 3: Final Stability Check

Place the assembled lamp on a level surface to check if everything is stable.
