  Several factors can cause the water in your Joneca Water Dispenser to not heat up: * Ensure the unit is plugged into a properly grounded electric outlet. * Verify the electric outlet is functioning correctly by checking the circuit breaker or fuses. * Confirm that the outlet is not switched off. * Try turning the thermostat control dial fully clockwise to potentially produce boiling water in about 15 minutes. If boiling occurs, slightly turn the dial counterclockwise until gurgling or sputtering stops. Then, adjust the dial another 1/8 inch and check the water temperature.

  If your Joneca Water Dispenser is spitting water and steam forcefully, it could be due to the unit boiling. Try activating the faucet lever to release some water from the tank. You may also need to adjust the water temperature using the dial on the front of the tank. Note that this may be normal during the initial setup. Also, remember that at higher altitudes, water boils at lower temperatures.
