Why is my Jonsered LT14A Lawn Mower hard to start?

  There are several reasons why your Jonsered Lawn Mower might be hard to start: * The air filter may be dirty, clean or replace the air filter. * The spark plug may be bad, replace the spark plug. * The battery may be weak or dead, recharge or replace the battery. * The fuel filter may be dirty, replace the fuel filter. * The fuel may be stale or dirty, drain the fuel tank and refill with fresh gasoline. * The wiring may be loose or damaged, check all wiring. * The carburetor may be out of adjustment. See “To Adjust Carburetor” in Service Adjustments section. * The engine valves may be out of adjustment. Contact an authorized service center/department.

  Excessive vibration in your Jonsered Lawn Mower could be due to: * A worn, bent, or loose blade; replace the blade and tighten the blade bolt. * A bent blade mandrel; replace the blade mandrel. * Loose or damaged part(s); tighten any loose parts and replace any damaged parts.

  If the engine of your Jonsered Lawn Mower won't turn over, here are some things to check: * Make sure the brake pedal is depressed. * Ensure the attachment clutch is disengaged. * See if the battery is weak or dead; recharge or replace it if necessary. * Check for a blown fuse and replace it. * Clean any corrosion from the battery terminals. * Inspect the wiring for any loose connections or damage. * Examine the ignition switch and replace it if faulty. * Check the solenoid or starter and replace if faulty. * Faulty operator presence switch(es).
