Why is the grass discharge poor on my Jonsered LT13A Lawn Mower?
    • S
      Samuel NelsonJul 30, 2025
To resolve poor grass discharge with your Jonsered Lawn Mower: * Ensure the engine is at the 'FAST' throttle position. * Reduce travel speed. * Allow wet grass to dry before mowing. * Level the mower deck and check tire air pressure. * Replace or sharpen worn blades, and tighten loose ones. Also, make sure the blades are installed with the sharp edge down, or replace with the correct blades. Clean any grass, leaves, or trash buildup under the mower and around the mandrels to clear vent holes. Replace the mower drive belt if it's worn.

How to fix an uneven cut with my Jonsered LT13A?
    • E
      Eric HintonAug 3, 2025
If your Jonsered Lawn Mower isn't cutting evenly, it could be due to several reasons. The blade might be worn, bent, or loose, so replace it or tighten the blade bolt. The mower deck may not be level, so level it. There might be a buildup of grass, leaves, and trash under the mower, so clean the underside of the mower housing. A bent blade mandrel could also be the culprit, so replace it. Finally, check for clogged mower deck vent holes and clean around the mandrels to open them.

What to do if the headlight(s) on my Jonsered LT13A are not working?
    • K
      Kyle VillegasAug 7, 2025
If the headlight(s) on your Jonsered Lawn Mower aren't working, first, make sure the switch is turned 'ON'. If that doesn't work, the bulb(s) may be burned out, so replace them. If the issue persists, check or replace the light switch, inspect the wiring and connections for any looseness or damage, and replace the fuse if it's blown.

Why won't the mower blades rotate on my Jonsered LT13A?
    • M
      Michael CortezAug 12, 2025
If the mower blades on your Jonsered Lawn Mower won't rotate, check for an obstruction in the clutch mechanism and remove it. If there is no obstruction, the mower drive belt may be worn or damaged, so replace it. Also, the idler pulley or blade mandrel could be frozen, so replace them if necessary.

What to do if the battery will not charge on my Jonsered LT13A Lawn Mower?
    • J
      Jennifer CarpenterAug 16, 2025
If your Jonsered Lawn Mower battery isn't charging, the battery cell(s) might be bad, so replace the battery. Also, check and clean all cable connections, as poor connections can prevent charging. If those steps don't resolve the issue, the regulator or alternator might be faulty, so replace them.

Why am I experiencing a loss of drive on my Jonsered LT13A Lawn Mower?
    • R
      robinsonjacobAug 20, 2025
If you experience a loss of drive with your Jonsered Lawn Mower, ensure the freewheel control is in the 'engaged' position. If it is, the motion drive belt may be worn, damaged, or broken, so replace it. Another potential cause is air trapped in the transmission during shipment or servicing, so purge the transmission.

Why does the engine backfire when turning off my Jonsered LT13A Lawn Mower?
    • F
      fletcheraaronAug 26, 2025
If your Jonsered Lawn Mower engine backfires when turning it off, move the throttle control to the 'SLOW' position and allow it to idle for 30 seconds before stopping the engine. This is because the engine throttle control was not set at the “SLOW” position for 30 seconds before stopping engine.
